Police Canine Attack on Black Man During Ohio Pursuit Sparks Outrage

A Black man in Ohio was mauled by a police dog during a traffic stop after surrendering with his hands raised. The man, Jadarrius Rose, was pursued by authorities for driving a semi-tractor trailer without a rear mud flap. Despite exiting the vehicle and standing with his hands in the air, a Circleville Police Department officer released the K9, which bit and pulled Rose by his arm. Rose repeatedly screamed for help as officers called for a first aid kit. The incident is under investigation, and it remains unclear if the officer will face disciplinary action.
