Country singer Jimmie Allen has been accused of rape and sexual abuse by a former manager, who filed a lawsuit against him for sexual battery, assault, false imprisonment, sex trafficking, and emotional distress. Allen denied the allegations, claiming that he and his ex-manager had a consensual “sexual relationship” for nearly two years. His label, BBR Music Group, has suspended all activity with him, and he has been replaced as the speaker for Delaware State University’s May 12 commencement ceremony.
