First lady Jill Biden has unveiled the 2023 White House holiday decor, with the theme "Magic, Wonder, and Joy" inspired by children's experiences of the holidays. The festive decor includes 98 Christmas trees, 72 classic wreaths, and over 140,000 holiday lights. The first lady invited National Guard families to be the first to see the decorations, and a round table discussion was held with them. The official White House menorah, made from reclaimed wood, is also on display. Biden emphasized the importance of reflection, gratitude, and being present during the holiday season.
