"Trump Fined $350 Million, Banned from N.Y. Business for 3 Years in Civil Fraud Case Ruling"

Judge Arthur Engoron has ruled in the New York civil fraud case against Donald Trump and his companies, ordering Trump's adult sons to be barred from serving as officers or directors of any New York corporation for two years, and Trump himself for three years. The judge also found Trump's adult sons and former Trump Organization CFO liable for civil fraud counts, ordering them to pay fines. Additionally, the judge barred Trump from applying for loans from New York state banks for three years and criticized the defendants for their lack of contrition. Trump's attorney plans to appeal the ruling, and while the business certificates for the Trump Organization were not dissolved, a monitor and independent director of compliance will be put in place for at least three years.
