Trump's Historic Testimony in Civil Fraud Case

Former President Donald Trump is set to testify in a $250 million civil fraud trial in New York. Trump's testimony could potentially lead to the dismantling of his business empire. He will be questioned under oath by a lawyer from the state Attorney General's office, in front of a judge he has previously mocked on social media. Trump's previous sworn testimony in the case has already been problematic for him, as he invoked his Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination multiple times. The judge has found Trump liable for fraud in a summary judgment before the trial began. Trump is also facing four criminal cases next year.
