Unarmed Black Man Attacked by Police Dog Despite Surrender

An investigation has been launched after body-camera footage was released showing a police dog attacking a semi-truck driver with his hands up in Ohio. The incident occurred on July 4 during a highway chase, and the video shows the driver complying with orders to get on his knees and keep his hands in the air. Despite this, the police dog was released and attacked the driver, causing him pain. The driver was taken into custody and treated at a hospital before being booked on charges of failure to comply. The Circleville Police Department's Use of Force Review Board is conducting an investigation, and the NAACP is also looking into the incident.
