Band Director Tased and Arrested for Defying Police Orders to Stop Performance

Body camera footage has been released showing the arrest of an Alabama high school band director who was shocked with a stun gun after allegedly refusing to comply with orders to stop playing and resisting arrest. The incident occurred at P.D. Jackson-Olin High School in Birmingham, following a game against Minor High School. The footage shows officers repeatedly asking the band director to stop the performance, but he instructs the band to continue. The director was eventually tased three times and arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, harassment, and resisting arrest. The incident is under investigation, and the band director's attorney is calling for the officers involved to be placed on administrative leave.
