Thai Hostage Released by Hamas in Gaza: A Miraculous Escape

Thai farm worker, Vetoon Phoome, who was feared dead after being captured by Hamas during the conflict between Israel and Gaza, has been miraculously released along with nine other Thai hostages. The release was part of a deal negotiated alongside a truce and the exchange of Palestinian prisoners. Thailand's government is still working to secure the release of the remaining captives. About 30,000 Thai nationals work in Israel, and the Thai foreign ministry has thanked various countries for their efforts in facilitating the release.
