Cory Booker's Terrifying Escape from Hamas Attack in Israel

Two American lawmakers, Sen. Cory Booker and Rep. Dan Goldman, were in Israel when Hamas launched attacks over the weekend. Both lawmakers sheltered in place in their hotels and have since returned to the U.S. Many other Americans, including church groups and law enforcement officials, remain stranded in Israel as major airlines have suspended flights. The U.S. State Department confirmed that nine U.S. citizens have been killed in the conflict, and an unspecified number of others are unaccounted for.
