A 10-year-old boy, Samuel Arellano, narrowly escaped serious injury after being shot at the Kansas City Chiefs victory rally, with the bullet missing his lungs by centimeters. The shooting occurred as a fight broke out after the rally, leaving 23 people, including nine children, injured and one victim dead. Samuel, a big Chiefs fan, dreams of a football career and is receiving support from the team's emergency response fund, KC Strong, which aims to aid shooting victims and their families, first responders, and provide violence prevention and mental health services.
