"Vincent Valentine Joins Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth as an Accompanying Character"

Vincent Valentine will be an "accompanying character" in Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, similar to Red XIII in the Remake. While not playable, Vincent will join the party and fight alongside them, but won't be controllable or have his equipment changed. However, there is a possibility that Vincent may become playable in the final section of the trilogy. Vincent's appearance in the recent Rebirth trailer was well-received, as he is a beloved character from the original FF7. Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth is set to release on February 29, 2024, as a PS5-exclusive initially.
