Rockstar Confirms GTA 6 and Borderlands 4 Won't Launch Simultaneously

Take-Two Interactive has confirmed that the release of GTA 6 and Borderlands 4 will not overlap, with GTA 6 expected in Fall 2025 and Borderlands 4 set for Take-Two's fiscal year 2025-2026. The company aims to avoid stacking major game releases. GTA 6 was announced in December 2023, while Borderlands 4 was revealed in August 2024. The Borderlands movie adaptation was noted as a disappointment, but it helped boost game sales.
