Susan Noles, a 66-year-old woman from Pennsylvania, received the final rose on the premiere episode of ABC's new show, The Golden Bachelor. The show features a 71-year-old widower, Gerry Turner, who is looking for a second chance at love. Noles, a wedding officiant and former hair and makeup artist, was among the 16 women who advanced to the next round. All contestants on the show are between 60 and 75 years old. Noles drew attention with her introduction, stepping out of a limo in a sequined and feathered ball gown. She is the former wife of Phillies pitcher Dickie Noles and is known for her love of golf and concerts.
