Gerry Turner, known as the "Golden Bachelor," who claimed he hadn't seriously dated since his late wife's death, is now facing allegations from an ex who claims they dated for three years starting one month after his wife's passing. The ex, pseudonymously called Carolyn, alleges that they lived together in the house Turner mentions on the show and that he had promised to marry her. The relationship ended after Turner disinvited Carolyn from his high school reunion due to her weight gain. Carolyn also claims that Turner accused her of purposefully injuring herself to stay in the house longer. ABC, Turner, and Warner Bros. have not commented on the allegations.
