'Squid Game' Actor Convicted of Sexual Misconduct in South Korea

Oh Young-soo, known for his role as Player 001 in Squid Game, has been found guilty of indecent assault in South Korea for inappropriately touching an actress in 2017. He received an eight-month suspended sentence and was ordered to attend 40 hours of classes on sexual violence. Oh plans to appeal the decision. Despite his international fame and accolades for his performance in Squid Game, his career has suffered, as he is not part of the cast for the upcoming season 2 and was dropped from a South Korean play.
