Bruce Springsteen's 2023 Tour Canceled Due to Illness

Bruce Springsteen has announced that he will not be able to perform for the rest of this year due to his ongoing battle with peptic ulcer disease. The rock icon had previously postponed September shows in hopes of recovering in time for a Canadian tour in November, but his doctors have advised him to continue treatment throughout the year. As a result, all remaining 2023 tour dates have been postponed until 2024. Springsteen's next shows are scheduled for August 2024 in Philadelphia, and rescheduled dates for the postponed shows will be announced next week. Peptic ulcer disease is the wearing away of the stomach lining, often caused by bacteria or the regular use of certain painkillers.
