Broadway Legend Maurice Hines Passes Away at 80

Maurice Hines, a renowned dancer, choreographer, and Broadway star known for his work with his brother Gregory Hines and his appearance in "The Cotton Club," has passed away at the age of 80. His career spanned over six decades, beginning with Broadway at a young age and including a Tony-nominated performance in "Uptown…It’s Hot!" as well as choreographing and starring in numerous shows. Debbie Allen and John Manzari paid tribute to his legacy, with Allen reflecting on their shared history and Manzari expressing gratitude for Hines' mentorship.
