'Ahsoka' Season Finale Delivers a Satisfying Conclusion

The season finale of "Ahsoka" takes a spooky turn as zombies and witches enter the "Star Wars" universe. Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra attempt to stop Thrawn and his army from returning to the fallen Empire, but they face undead Stormtroopers and a witchy Nightsister. Ahsoka fights Morgan Elsbeth while Ezra boards Thrawn's ship. Sabine stays to help Ahsoka, and they end up stranded on Peridea. Meanwhile, Ezra reunites with Hera Syndulla. Ahsoka and Sabine settle into their new home and Ahsoka sees the Force ghost of Anakin Skywalker. The late Ray Stevenson's character, Baylan Skoll, makes a brief appearance, potentially setting up future conflicts. The future of Ahsoka and her friends is uncertain, but more of the post-"Return of the Jedi" timeframe will be explored in the upcoming series "Skeleton Crew," and a "Star Wars" movie directed by Dave Filoni may feature Thrawn and the Disney+ protagonists teaming up against Imperial remnants.
