YouTube Mom Ruby Franke Pleads Guilty to Child Abuse Charges

Ruby Franke, a mother of six who gained popularity through her YouTube channel "8 Passengers" where she gave parenting advice, has pleaded guilty to four counts of aggravated child abuse. Franke admitted to abusing and starving two of her children and is likely to face a prison sentence. The plea agreement leaves the sentencing up to the judge, with each charge carrying a sentence of one to 15 years in prison. Franke's attorney stated that the alleged abuse occurred while she was under the influence of a relationship counselor who manipulated her sense of morality. Franke's former counselor, Jodi Hildebrandt, has also been charged with aggravated child abuse.
