Prosecutors in Texas have accused Kaitlin Armstrong of tracking professional cyclist Moriah "Mo" Wilson's movements on the fitness app Strava before allegedly shooting her three times, including once through the heart. Armstrong, who has pleaded not guilty, is said to have been romantically involved with the same man as Wilson. Wilson's body was found with multiple gunshot wounds at a friend's home in Austin in May 2022. Armstrong fled the country but was captured in Costa Rica and extradited back to the US. The trial is ongoing, and Armstrong could face up to 99 years in prison if convicted.
