"UNC-Chapel Hill Campus Lockdown Ends: Armed and Dangerous Suspect Still at Large"

The University of North Carolina issued a shelter-in-place order and alerted the community about an armed and dangerous person on or near campus. After a large police presence and the release of a photo of a person of interest, an all clear alert was issued. Classes and events were canceled for the day, and North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper pledged state resources to capture the shooter and protect the campus.
