Tragic Bronx Daycare Incident Leaves Infant Dead and Others Hospitalized

A 1-year-old boy has died and three other children have been hospitalized after being exposed to an opioid at a Bronx daycare. Police found the children unconscious and exhibiting symptoms of opioid exposure at the Divino Niño Day Care. The 1-year-old boy was pronounced dead, while a 2-year-old boy is in critical condition and an 8-month-old girl is in stable condition. Another child, a 2-year-old boy, was taken to a different hospital after his mother noticed he was acting lethargic and unresponsive. Investigators discovered a "kilo press" at the daycare center, and two people are currently in custody for questioning. The investigation is ongoing.
