Tragedy in Barron County: Two Officers and Suspect Dead After Traffic Stop

Two police officers from Chetek and Cameron Police Departments were killed during an exchange of gunfire at a traffic stop in Barron County, Wisconsin. The suspect was also killed after being brought to the hospital. The Wisconsin DOJ Division of Criminal Investigation is leading the investigation, and is being assisted by several law enforcement offices. Condolences were offered to the families and communities of the officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
