Three Men Acquitted in Plot to Kidnap Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer

Three men have been acquitted by a jury in Michigan of involvement in a plot to kidnap Governor Gretchen Whitmer. William Null, Michael Null, and Eric Molitor were found not guilty of providing support for a terrorist act and a weapons charge. The plot, orchestrated by members of the Wolverine Watchmen militia, aimed to stage a "trial" of the governor for treason and spark a larger conflict. Nine men have been convicted or pleaded guilty in connection with the case, while two others were previously acquitted. The acquittal of the Nulls and Mr. Molitor comes after a three-week trial.
