The Expanding Investigation into Gilgo Beach Murder Suspect Rex Heuermann

The investigation into the Gilgo Beach serial killings, in which Rex Heuermann has been implicated, now spans several states as authorities seek to determine if he may be responsible for other unsolved crimes. A woman who went on a date with Heuermann eight years ago claimed he discussed the murders in a disturbing manner, seemingly enjoying talking about them. Heuermann also appeared to have knowledge of the case that hadn't been made public. Law enforcement agencies in South Carolina and Las Vegas have confirmed their involvement in the case, and Heuermann's properties in those areas are being investigated. Authorities have recovered a large number of guns from his Long Island home, and he has been charged with the killings of three women, with a fourth victim also believed to be connected.
