Texas Congressman Henry Cuellar Carjacked at Gunpoint in Washington, DC

US Congressman Henry Cuellar, a Democrat from Texas, was carjacked at gunpoint in Washington DC while parking near the US Capitol. Three armed individuals approached him, but he was unharmed and his vehicle was later recovered. The suspects are being pursued by the US Capitol Police. Cuellar's phone and iPad were also stolen, and it is unclear if they have been returned. Carjackings in Washington have been increasing, with 750 incidents reported this year, 75% of which involved firearms. Cuellar is currently serving his 10th term in the US House of Representatives.
