Suspect in Killing of Maryland Judge Found Dead

Pedro Argote, the suspect in the killing of a Maryland judge who ruled against him in a divorce case, was found dead in a wooded area near the shooting location, ending a weeklong manhunt. Argote was believed to be angry about losing custody of his children when he shot and killed Judge Andrew Wilkinson. The judge had ruled against Argote and awarded sole custody to his wife after hearing emotional testimony about the abuse inflicted upon her and their daughter. Argote's body was found about a mile from his abandoned SUV, and the cause of death has not been released.
