Suspect in Atlanta medical center shooting arrested, hospital to close temporarily.

A former U.S. Coast Guardsman, Deion Patterson, has been arrested for killing one person and injuring four others, all women, in a shooting at a medical building in Atlanta. The suspect fled the scene in a carjacked vehicle but was later apprehended by an undercover officer. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation. One of the victims was identified as an employee of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Three of the injured women are in critical condition. The incident is the latest in a series of gun violence incidents in the US.
