The women allege that Ballard manipulated and coerced them into sexual acts during the missions. The lawsuit claims that the organization and its board members were aware of Ballard's conduct and that reports were ignored or silenced. OUR and its board deny the allegations. Ballard is also accused of using a tactic called the "couples ruse" to engage in sexual activities with his female partners.
