Paul Pelosi Testifies in Trial of Man Accused of Brutal Hammer Attack

Paul Pelosi, husband of former House speaker Nancy Pelosi, testified in the trial of David DePape, the man accused of attacking him with a hammer in their San Francisco home. Pelosi recounted the traumatic experience of encountering the intruder in his bedroom and being threatened with ties and a hammer. He revealed that he had not discussed the attack with anyone due to its traumatic nature. Prosecutors presented video evidence and testimony from law enforcement officials, including an FBI agent who collected DePape's electronics and witnesses who saw the attack. Defense attorney Jodi Linker acknowledged that DePape was the attacker but argued that he believed he was taking action against government corruption and child abuse. If convicted, DePape faces life in prison.
