No Bond for Woman Accused of Drunkenly Killing Newlywed in Crash

A judge in South Carolina has denied bond for Jamie Lee Komoroski, who is accused of killing a newlywed bride in a drunk driving incident. Komoroski allegedly crashed her car into a golf cart, which was escorting the couple on their wedding day, while driving over twice the speed limit. Her blood alcohol content was found to be over three times the legal limit. She faces charges of reckless vehicular homicide and driving under the influence causing death or great bodily injury. The trial is currently scheduled for March 2024, but if it is not heard by then, Komoroski may be released on a $150,000 surety bond.
