The document, seized by authorities, detailed his desire for fame through a shooting and included plans and internet searches related to mass violence. Ye had been sent to psychiatric hospitals and had not attended school in person since 2022. He faces charges of threats of mass violence, and security has been increased at schools as a result of the investigation.
