Maryland Judge Andrew Wilkinson Assassinated in Targeted Attack

Maryland police are searching for Pedro Argote, who is considered armed and dangerous, in connection with the shooting and killing of Judge Andrew Wilkinson outside his home. The suspect, involved in a custody battle presided over by the judge, did not attend a hearing where custody of his children was granted to their mother. Judge Wilkinson's wife and son were present during the incident. The sheriff's office believes the judge was the sole target and has deployed officers to guard other judges' homes as a precaution.
