Manhunt expands to Dominican Republic for husband of day care owner in fentanyl death of toddler

A third person has been charged in the fentanyl-related death of a 1-year-old boy at a day care center in the Bronx, New York. Renny Antonio Parra Paredes, along with two other individuals, conspired to distribute narcotics, including fentanyl, at the day care center. The drugs were found hidden in the room where the children played and slept. If convicted, Parra Paredes faces a mandatory sentence of 20 years to life in prison. The owner of the day care center and another individual have also been charged in connection with the case.
