Jeffrey Epstein's Alleged Threats to Expose Bill Gates' Affair

Jeffrey Epstein allegedly threatened to expose Bill Gates' extramarital affair with a Russian bridge player and tried to blackmail him into reimbursing tuition costs he had initially covered for the player to attend software coding school. Epstein's threat came in the form of an email he sent in 2017 after he failed to convince Gates to join a multibillion-dollar charity fund he attempted to set up. Gates had met the player in 2010 and went on to play bridge with her. Epstein was charged with sex trafficking a minor and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking in 2019 and died months later in custody in an apparent suicide.
