Iowa Official's Wife Convicted of 52 Counts of Voter Fraud in Election Scheme

Kim Taylor, the wife of a county supervisor in northwestern Iowa, has been convicted of 52 counts of voter fraud, including providing false information, fraudulent registration, and fraudulent voting. Prosecutors alleged that Taylor targeted voters of Vietnamese heritage with limited English comprehension, filling out and signing election forms and ballots on their behalf. The scheme was intended to help her husband, Jeremy Taylor, in his unsuccessful bid for the Republican nomination for Congress. Jeremy Taylor has been named as an unindicted co-conspirator, and the case remains under investigation. Kim Taylor faces up to five years in prison on each charge.
