Investigation underway after Maryland judge fatally shot at home

Maryland authorities are investigating the fatal shooting of Circuit Court Judge Andrew Wilkinson in Hagerstown. Wilkinson was found in a residential driveway with gunshot wounds and later died at a medical facility. Maryland State Police have been dispatched to protect other judges as the investigation unfolds. Wilkinson, a well-liked and respected member of the community, had been an associate judge for the Washington County Circuit Court since January 2020.
