A secretive brothel catering to wealthy doctors, lawyers, politicians, and military officers has been busted in Boston. Three individuals have been arrested for running the operation, which primarily marketed Asian women for sex trafficking. The brothel operated through websites and rented high-end apartments as locations. While the anonymous buyers were not charged, the investigation is ongoing, and future arrests may include elected officials, high-tech executives, doctors, and others. This is the 16th case on human trafficking and civil rights prosecutions since the formation of a dedicated unit in the U.S. Attorney's Office in the region in 2022.
