From Detroit to Pennsylvania: The K-9 Officer Who Caught Fugitive Danelo Cavalcante

A K-9 officer from Detroit named Yoda, a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois with the U.S. Border Patrol's Tactical Unit, successfully captured escaped murderer Danelo Cavalcante after a two-week manhunt in southern Pennsylvania. Cavalcante had escaped from jail and was wanted for fatally stabbing his girlfriend and another killing in Brazil. Yoda found Cavalcante hiding in a woodland area of Chester County, bit him on the scalp, and he was taken into custody without any shots fired. Other Border Patrol Tactical Units from different locations also aided in the search.
