Friend of White House U-Haul crash suspect expresses concern over mental state and presidential threats.

A former classmate of Sai Varshith Kandula, the alleged neo-Nazi who crashed a U-Haul truck into the White House security barrier, expressed concern about his mental state. Kandula reportedly told the FBI that he wanted to kill the president and seize power. He has been charged with threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict harm on a president, vice president or family member, as well as assault with a dangerous weapon, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, trespassing and destruction of federal property. Investigators are probing whether mental health played a role.
