Former Marine Kills Unhinged Subway Passenger with Chokehold

A 30-year-old man died after being restrained in a chokehold by a fellow passenger on the New York subway. The incident occurred on Monday afternoon on the F-line train in the SoHo section of Manhattan. The deceased man was said to be acting erratically, allegedly throwing trash and yelling at passengers. Video evidence shows the former Marine holding the man around the neck for almost three minutes. Police have questioned the Marine and their investigation is ongoing, including a pending medical examiner's report to determine the cause of death.
