"Family Friend Charged with Capital Murder in Audrii Cunningham's Death"

Don Steven McDougal has been charged with capital murder in the death of 11-year-old Audrii Cunningham, whose body was found in the Trinity River five days after she went missing from her Livingston-area neighborhood. McDougal, a friend of the family, was the last person seen with Cunningham and has a criminal history dating back to 2001, including convictions for enticement of a child. He is being held without bond and could face the death penalty.
