Escaped Ohio Inmate Found Dead in Ohio River

The body of Bradley Gillespie, a convicted murderer who escaped from an Ohio prison, was found floating in the Ohio River in Kentucky. Gillespie had been on the run for nearly a week before his body was discovered. An autopsy will confirm the identity of the remains. Gillespie was serving two consecutive 15-to-life sentences for two counts of murder. His fellow escapee, James Lee, was captured shortly after the escape.
