Escaped Killer Danelo Cavalcante: Manhunt Intensifies

Danelo Cavalcante, a convicted murderer who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison last month, allegedly broke into a house and stole a rifle before being shot at by the homeowner. State police warned that Cavalcante may now be armed and a manhunt ensued, with hundreds of police officers flooding the area. Although it is unclear if Cavalcante was hit, investigators found shoes believed to belong to him. Residents were advised to shelter in place and not approach the dangerous criminal. Cavalcante had escaped by climbing a wall and running across the prison roof.
