Escaped Inmate Michael Burham Captured After 9-Day Manhunt

Escaped inmate Michael Burnham, who had been on the run for nine days, was arrested "at gunpoint" by Pennsylvania State Police after being spotted by a homeowner in Warren County. Burnham, a homicide and arson suspect, had escaped from the county jail by using bed sheets to rappel down from the roof. He was found tired and worn out, still wearing his orange prison jumpsuit. Burnham had been facing multiple charges, including arson, kidnapping, and burglary, and was also under investigation for the rape and murder of the mother of his child in New York. It is yet to be determined where he will be housed, and it is unclear if he will face additional charges for the escape.
