Escaped Convicted Killer Sparks Intense Manhunt in Pennsylvania

Convicted killer Danelo Cavalcante, who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison on August 31, has been spotted multiple times within the search area targeted by hundreds of officers. The manhunt, now in its 11th day, has involved nearly 400 officers, tactical teams, K-9 dogs, and a helicopter. There have been "eight or nine" credible sightings of Cavalcante since his escape, causing distress among residents and fear among the victim's family. Cavalcante was convicted of first-degree murder for stabbing his former girlfriend 38 times in front of her children. Despite his elusive streak, authorities remain confident that he will be caught.
