Deadly Paris Stabbing: Suspect Arrested, One Dead and Two Injured

A German tourist was killed and another person injured in a knife attack in central Paris near the Quai de Grenelle. The attacker, a French-born and known supporter of radical Islam with mental health issues, targeted the tourists before attempting to attack two more people with a hammer. The assailant was arrested and expressed grievances about Muslims dying in Afghanistan and the Palestinian Territories. France raised its terrorism alert level in October following a series of attacks and threats.
