Deadly Georgia Mass Shooting Ends in Shootout with Police, Suspect Killed

A man wanted in connection with four weekend killings near Atlanta was shot and killed by officers during an exchange of gunfire, with a sheriff's deputy and two police officers wounded in the process. The suspect, Andre Longmore, was killed in suburban Jonesboro after stealing an SUV from one of the victims. The shootings occurred in a neighborhood in Hampton, Georgia, and the motive behind the killings remains under investigation. The injured officers are expected to recover.
