Daniel Penny indicted for Jordan Neely's subway chokehold death.

Daniel Penny, who was charged with manslaughter for putting a New York City subway rider in a fatal chokehold, has been indicted by a grand jury. Jordan Neely, a former Michael Jackson impersonator who struggled with homelessness and mental illness, died on May 1. Penny claimed he was protecting himself and other passengers, but Neely was not assaulting anyone. Penny's lawyers said they were confident that when a trial jury is tasked with weighing the evidence, they will find his actions on that train were fully justified.
