Dallas Bridge Gunfire Case: Three Arrested as Investigation Expands

Dallas police announced the arrest of three men—Anthony Acevedo, Jose AlarconSanchez and Anderson Derce Lara—in connection with a viral New Year’s Eve gunfire on the Margaret McDermott Bridge. Investigators recovered more than 100 shell casings and linked the suspects to other North Texas gun offenses, including a separate road-rage shooting involving Lara. Acevedo was released on bond, while AlarconSanchez and Lara remain in custody on immigration detainers as the ATF assists the investigation.
